Randy Seedorff and Soul Purpose got together in 2010, to bring a new definition to the concept of Christian music. While there is no real genre that defines us (we have been called rock, blues, acoustic-rock), the groove is unmistakable. Lead man Randy Seedorff has a diverse musical style, and the unique ability to blend of the rock 'n roll of his youth and his love of the blues, along with the traditional gospel he learned as a child, to create a sound that is not soon forgotten. He rounds out the package with powerful vocals. Jeramy Sena is a talented and diverse musician, and plays a red-hot bass for Soul Purpose. Jeff Furst plays the kit and sings backup. Jeff is also a fantastic graphic artist, and did the artwork for this project, as well. Dennis Carnahan is a magnificent sax man, who has also played with the likes of Lester Estelle and Jimmie Bratcher. Trent Canupp is the latest addition to the group and we are loving his guitar skills. Rearview Mirror includes 11 original songs, plus a great tune from our good friend from "across the pond", Shane Rootes. We had the priviledge of working with Larry Gann and Matt Russo of Awestruck Studios, and they definitely brought their recording and mixing magic to the party.
