The Group feat Randy Brecker offers an emotional tour through many musical styles - and although it seems like an ambitious mouthful to incorporate such a vast and diverse source of inspiration genrewise - The Group pulls it off with an ease and elegance seldom found. The hookup with jazz star Randy Brecker seems both solid and playful with an output that can only be described as true music without restrictions. A very recommendable album for all who loves jazzfusion at its best.
