by Scott YanowJudy Holliday was an actress, not a singer, but she recorded two albums of songs in 1958 and 1960. Her voice is just OK, so the stronger pieces on this offering are the ones where her sincerity wins out or she gets to show off her ability as a comedian while joined by an orchestra arranged by Glenn Osser. Fans of the actress will find this CD of interest, but most other listeners can safely pass this by.
