The phenomenal clarinetist Kandirali seamlessly blends Turkish traditional reed playing with jazz in a style less overtly fusionist than most Turkish jazz, which by me works better. This super CD, which mixes studio cuts with a concert performance, pairs him with an equally powerful saz player and percussion in a set that is frankly gorgeous. (62:36)
