With record sales of more than 2 million and with several musical and opera successes behind him, he has made an undisputable mark on the Danish music scene. In 2018 Sebastian received Hans Christian Andersen's Prize. Throughout his career he has formed a partnership with H.C. Andersen by composing melodies to some of H.C. Andersen's poems as well as interpreting and rewriting themes and fairytales into his own songs.  This year, Tencent Musician and Nordic Music publisher Edition Wilhelm Hansen have agreed on releasing Sebastian's music in Chinese. The cooperation has resulted in an album featuring 10 of Sebastian’s most well- known songs, interpreted and recorded by established Chinese artists and band, including Adai Song, Cheng Bi, Chen Hongyu, Doris Ho, Danni Ye, Haiqiao Xu, Kulu, L.X.Y，Low Wormwood, and Moxi Zishi .
