Eternal source of light divine' is the opening line of Handel's 'Ode for the Birthday of Queen Anne, HWV 74' a secular cantata written in 1713. The work has become one of the most popular pieces of music performed at weddings. It was originally written for solo alto and solo trumpet and strings. In this new arrangement, the two solo parts are taken by soprano and sopranino saxophone, with the strings played on the organ.
