For the 25th instalment from House of Disco we see Munich duo and Toytonics regulars COEO explore pastures new with an EP bathed in the neon glow of the 1980’s. Inspired by cheap karate films and old Baywatch episodes the duo hone in on something new among all the old machines and familiar sounds. ‘Habibi Dub’, the opening track elevates the forgotten about pan-pipe to sunny perfection, perfect for slow motion running on that honeymoon in Hawaii. The second of three originals ‘Sharks, Lies & Videotape’ takes the dune buggy for a blast along the beach looking for trouble while the third offering ‘Joe Armstrong Theme’ defends your dojo from unwanted nighttime intruders.
