Joal is a Portuguese born, Berlin based artist, a third of Perce Recordings and can be found on numerous known labels catalog. His first album "Among the Others" brings together years of music, experience and love, these surface in a very rhythmic driven proposal that has a starting point in his Portuguese roots, diving unashamedly into House and Techno grooves where one can hear Acid strokes mixed with trancy timeless melodies and a constant nod to classic Electronica. One can easily find a sophisticated Big room tune alongside with a unique contemporary EBM approach in a happy coexistence, effortlessly making it a great album either to listen or to shake your booty, clearly a mature work in which Joal shows not only his producer skills but also a sensitive and honest approach to his influences.
