Verde is an independent band from Long Island, NY and we play Hard Rock and Alternative Metal music for no good reason other than we like to. We formed in a garage and gradually worked our way to playing venues in New York from Manhattan to Montauk. The band broke when our singer broke his spine in a terrible car accident. While he was lucky to be alive, he was told he would never walk again. After years of hard work he was back on his feet (with his now trademark cane) and Verde reunited to play a cancer benefit show. Since then, the band has been playing shows in NYC, Brooklyn, Queens and the rest of Long Island, has licensed songs to major outlets, is on over 40 radio stations world wide and has fans across 6 continents (Antarctica is yet to get down with us).
