R.E.E.L originated as a youth ministry in New Orleans, La until God gave the vision to two young men to start a record label devoted to Christians using their gifts and talents to glorify God. The word R.E.E.L takes on a three-fold meaning which is incorporated into the purpose of this record label along with it’s vision statement. Vision Statement To be REEL and transparent in order to create opportunities for the establishment of new relationships with Jesus Christ or an elevation in intimacy in relationship with Jesus Christ. To be a fishing REEL available for God to use to REEL souls into Christ. To Reach, Educate, and Empower Leaders. (R.E.E.L) Purpose The purpose of this record company is to lead, direct, inspire, convert, deliver, heal and minister to all. We believe that this is one of the many transformations that God has placed into the music industry. This is not merely for entertainment but to glorify God. We believe the gifts and talents given to us by God are not for our temporary entertainment but are given for his glory and the building of his kingdom on the earth. Therefore, we as his humble children press toward the mark of the high calling and strive for perfection. To present to you nothing less than Excellence!!! Emanuel The name Emanuel is translated, “God with us”, and Cory E. Taylor knows that all to well. Diagnosed with spinal meningitis at birth, doctors said that he would not live. His family prayed night and day that God would show up and he did. Destined for greatness but led to the rough streets of New Orleans, he began hustling in the very projects he grew up in. Seeing childhood friends murdered and living a life of guns, drugs and sex he knew deep down inside that the wages of sin was death. Looking for a way of escape Cory joined the Army. In 2003 he was sent to Iraq and that’s when God spoke to him. With everything going on around him and knowing what it was like back home he told God that he wanted to make a change. With his love for music God gave Cory the vision of R.E.E.L RECORDS. He has vowed to share his testimony and fulfill the GREAT Commission by Reaching, Educating, and Empowering Leaders. Eternal Born and raised in New Orleans, Charles E. Taylor Jr., (ETERNAL) was given a ministry of music and a vision to reach the world through it. With R-n-R, (Relationship not Religion) being the vision statement God gave him to govern his ministry, Eternal’s goal is to open up his personal life, testimonies, and relationship with God on a daily basis to exhibit the fact that “God is the Lord of our entire lives, not just our spiritual walk.” Praying that through his own transparent state, everyone who falls under the sound of this ministry will allow their relationship with God to flood every aspect of their lives and become comfortable in seeking him in “EVERY” situation and for “EVERY” answer. Through relationship, Eternal believes every young person will reach greater intimacy with God that surpasses any they have ever felt and allow him to “Takeover” their lives as they “Takeover on the earth!!!
