Ryan Amon is a new voice in film music. He has written scores for acclaimed directors Michael Mann and Neill Blomkamp, and his composition style, which has been compared to composers James Horner and Elliot Goldenthal, is an amalgamation of sweeping thematic orchestral music and experimental synthesis, using an organic and oftentimes ethnically infused approach to orchestral neoclassicism.
