Bordertown was started in 2009 to create a unique blend of groove heavy blues and passionate funky rock. Inspired by early blues masters Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Elmore James and Lightning Hopkins through modern era blues greats R.L.Burnside, Jr. Kimbrough with touches of phsycedelic blues and grunge bands Mudhoney and Screaming Trees. Jason Meredith has a long creative history as songwriter and singer with alternative rock and grunge bands but soon the blues influence took over and he has spent the last 10 years honing his sound and the songs on thier new LP "All the Ups"
