We were thinking the title of this live collection of songs, “Tarpaper, Chicken Wire & Nails” pretty much outlines the rickety edifice, which is Hardpan. The band is many things, but rough around the edges and functional describes us fairly and consistently. Hell, any band that uses a box and brushes as percussion can’t ever lay claim to “slick”. These songs were chosen because we feel they uniquely represent the best of what live Hardpan music is all about. We hope you enjoy the listening as much as we have in the making of. Hardpan May 2015
