In recognition of the support they received from their collective parents, the band chose the name Mummy Daddy. "Mummy Daddy" are big fans of Punk and Celtic music. People have described them as Green day meets Flogging Molly. The band use Analogue tape and traditional instruments such as banjo and bagpipes.
