Dojo for Crooks is the creative byproduct of a lifelong friendship between its three members: Braden Anderson (vocals and guitar), Jesse Howe (drums), and Andy Thies (synth). Over many years the sound of the group has evolved into a mix of synth-driven exuberance while attempting to maintain the integrity of organic, truthful songwriting. Having emerged from the faded industrial backdrop of Kansas City, MO, Dojo for Crooks seeks to embrace a sonic identity that both breaks boundaries yet also holds on to the innate qualities gifted to them by their home, no matter where in the world life may take them.
