In the autumn of 2015 began recording of the first EP "A Hope of Reality", with 6 songs, that was released in february 2016. The music is heavy, rhythmic, melodic and influenced by djent and different kinds of metal. Sounds similar to bands like: In Hearts Wake, I The Breather, Breakdown of Sanity, Erra, Northlane, Volumes and probably more. It was recorded in a small studio in a little town in Sweden. The songs are mostly written by the guitarists (Martin Rinaldo and Fredrik Mikalsen), but everyone is a part of every song somehow to make it complete. The songs are played in dropped Ab on 7-string guitars to get that heavy and djenty sound that Deflections love!
