The Deli Llama Orchestra started when a group of musicians who had day gigs met at noon to play music at my office in downtown Columbia, Missouri. In 1992 Tibetan singing bowls joined the "Lunch Bunch" and we morphed into the "Deli Llama Orchestra." The overtones the bowls create make musicial stepping stones for improvisional musicians to dance on, and they do so with wonderful clarity. The release of "Soul Food," our first album, adding Skookums on harp, stepped us up a notch for a sound that is out of this world!
