This is a compilation of songs that best exemplify the music of Bennett/Morris. Scott Bennett played lead guitar, engineered and produced, to varying degrees, these songs. I wrote the music and lyrics and played guitar and sang the lead vocals. Scott and I collaborated on my first CD, “Hidden Places”, with Scott playing and doing some engineering in 2003-2004. We did a full band project in 2006, “One More Sip”, with Scott playing, engineering and producing. Our third CD/EP with just our guitars, “Mothership”, was engineered and produced at Scott’s fledgling Sound House Studio in 2009. Our final project as UnAssisted Living, with Peggy Dennis, in 2012 was “Tribes”. It was released several months after Scott’s death. It’s been 5 years since Scott became lead guitar in the Heavenly Band. It was time to honor his memory and bring together the best of our playing together.
