Jeffrey L. Jones & Wayne E. Nelson Alias Luv Jonz & Daddy W Jeff and Wayne met in December of 2007 at ASCAP headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. Both are music producers in their own right and had been trying for years to break into the music industry. In December 2007, executives at ASCAP headquarters told them that they should collaborate which Jeff and Wayne did. What they came up with is the single “We Shall Overcome Today” and are presently working on a follow up CD. The song “We Shall Overcome Today” was inspired by the We Shall Overcome speech of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. It started out as a poem telling some of the things we needed to overcome before Dr. King’s dream can become a reality.
