"Vortex" is a complete modernisation of "old school" electronic dance music. The huge variety of genres in this album will please everyone who's into this style of music. Right from the powerful beat and funky melodies of "The Feeling" padded out by Nico Collu's fantastic rap, to the aggressive nature of the dubstep inspired track; "The Future". There really is a track for everyone on this album. It will most certainly get your feet tapping and your head bobbing! "Synchronicity" incorporates synth pop with the tone of bass-heavy modern dance hits! The catchy rhythms and lyrics (sung by me) will surely get stuck in your head. "Bliss" is a down-tempo track meant to relax. As the title suggests you should be immersed in a blissful wash of arpeggiated synths and flowing pads. "Elektrostatic" is a track that will definitely get your heart pumping! Its three chord dance-piano riff and catchy dominating bass line builds up steadily to the eastern inspired drop at the end. This track is really something special with a huge amount of stylistic variety! "Vortex". In the vortex there's no escape from the powerful bass line and repeating melodies. The drum patterns will suck you in to the distorted synth sounds amidst the track. "The Storm" is an upbeat musical depiction of an electrical storm with frantic melody lines and very artificial sounds. "Limitless" is a track that will put you on the edge of your seat with its over-powered bass line, modified sample cuts from Nico Collu and repetitive melody along with massive filter work, it really becomes an electronic adventure. "Yes!" is a track that will most certainly and obviously make you shout "YES!" as the title would suggest. With its roots based in trance (including the standard off beat bass line and bright pads), this track builds up to a climax throughout resulting in two seamless melodies that add so much to the positive atmosphere! "Don't Wanna Let Go" incorporates a mixture of so many styles you would have to give this track a whole genre of its own. The brass riffs accompanied by bright arpeggiated lines and a steady bass line really make this track unique! "Tranquillity" is an uplifting trance track that has powerful beats but will surely pull you into a place of tranquil calmness! "Somewhere in Your Soul" is the last track on this album and finishes it off with an epic anthem of trance with soothing lyrics at the start & end and exciting build-ups with invigorating melodies throughout! This album was the musical culmination of a years work and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have composing/producing it!
