New French sensation PORTLAND are set to release their first EP “Deezy Daisy” through Kitsuné ! Out digitally on September 15th ! Shortly after their formation, Metz’s trio PORTLAND (tribute to namesake American anticonformist city) made some noise when they released their first track ‘You Don’t Know Me’ on the internet with more than a million views! What’s more, the band is also featured on last live edition ‘Kitsuné Maison en Vrai’ alongside with Guards and Techniques. With no denial of their mainstream influences from Madonna (‘Like A Virgin’) to Prince (‘Cream’), it looks like 2013 is shaping up to be a big year for Portland with this upcoming EP, all the more as ‘Deezy Daisy’ is already one of the most long-awaited releases for the musical indie press.
