Marie Fisker is from Copenhagen, Denmark. As a singer she has appeared in various contexts before releasing her long awaited debut album Ghost Of Love in 2009. With the album she surfaced as a composer and bandleader with an original, strong and personal sound. Her music is a fine blend of down tempo rock’n’roll tunes that takes you on a sonic journey somewhere between Sibylle Baier and Velvet Underground. Sometimes noisy, sometimes soft but always with Marie’s silky and passionate voice in the centre of the songs.
