An avant-garde Jazz group from Tokyo. Based on the detailed images derived from various novels, bassist Kentaro Ebiko writes intricate tunes that are also based on the frequencies of the notes which creates the unique sonic field for soloing. Library was formed in 2005, consists of Kentaro Ebiko on bass, Ryosuke Hashizume on sax, Toshi Iio on piano and Takashi Itani on percussion.They are all active members of the Tokyo's creative jazz scene. The composer and the bassist Kentaro Ebiko has studied with Charlie Haden and Darek Oles during his 11years life in California. Since his return to Tokyo in 1999, he has performed with Ted Brown, Youichi Hirai, Hiro Kawashima, Msashiro Yoshida, Hiroshi Yoshino, Makoto Terashita, Noriko Kojima and many other notable jazz musicians in Tokyo.
