In summer 2016 began recording of the single "Gone", that was released in fall of 2016. The music is heavy, rhythmic, melodic and influenced by djent and different kinds of metal. Sounds similar to bands like: In Hearts Wake, I The Breather, Breakdown of Sanity, Erra, Northlane, Volumes and probably more. It was recorded in our own "home studio" in a little town in Sweden. The song is mostly written by the guitarists (Martin Rinaldo and Fredrik Mikalsen), but everyone in the band had a part to make it complete. The song is played in dropped Ab on 7-string guitars to get that heavy and djenty sound that Deflections love!
