Dreaming of You describes the emotional rollercoaster when you do not achieve your goals, and later, coping with with the situation. The song was written in 2008 and describes the emotional state of a person following a disappointment. The song has a flow of past-present-future and contradicts the uplifting mood in the first verse with gloomy feeling of despair as the song progresses. I used only guitar and cello for this song as I wanted to accentuate the sad emotions and how they overpower the person as he tries to cope with his or her situation. In my view the song is a-sexual and can represent any scenario that the listener relates to.
