Slumbertime Productions started out as an instrumental album.  I think Tunesday exhausted all of my lyrical ideas, and I just wanted to make music without any concern over what a song should be “about”.  After completing the music for all of the songs I had a revelation… a story idea… one that could feed lyrical ideas for the whole batch.  The Legend, Wedges Smedges, and If Then Else would have a new friend joining their storybook crew.  Since all of the music was done, I rearranged the order of songs to match the story’s moods and arcs.  Then, I wrote and recorded lyrics for most of them.  Without revealing too much, it’s a story of the rise and fall of an industry, born out of an invention that enables dream cinema.
