Strawberry Fields" was a long hit that took about two years to get over one million views, as its sound, which is not only trendy but also closer to overseas indie music, slowly spread. In March 2023, YOHLU released "passion," a song that swings in a more psychedelic direction. The song, their first in about a year, presents a soundscape that seems to be a condensed version of the year they spent in their studio in Fukuoka, their home base. Then followed the new song "utero. The song started with a beat that seemed to clear away the thick fog that had settled in, and the lyrics, which were both cool and nonsensical and had become prominent since the last album, were mixed with the groove and plunged into the latter half of the song. It is truly a killer tune that defines YOHLU's existence. The band is planning to release a full-length album and accompanying live performances.
