La Whaai is based in the northern part of the Netherlands (Friesland), the members alle originate from the town called Sneek. La Whaai has it's roots in 1979 but started of in it's current shape in 2006 when two long time friends picked up where they left of in the early 1990's. Nesta (Cor Visser) and Jake (Jack Terveer) started writing reggae songs and making them available for a larger audience. This is the third album they've created. The first (World a Music) and second (Singers day off) were sold among friends and other interested persons. This third CD is the first on which the band "La Whaai" is complete. On drums we've got Mr. Fanta-stick (Rob Heikens), the bass is being played by Mr. Easydora (Ricky Easydora) and keyboard is being played by Toots (Marcel van WIeren).
