Number 85 in the catalogue comes from long term label friend - Italian stalwart - Clif Jack. 'Imminent' kicks things off with a brazen 909 which courses under telephone tones as the stage for a captivating track is set. Drums are layered while a caustic acid line bubbles into the mix, snowballing tension towards a cinematic breakdown. Vocal snips and steely sonics render an immersive atmosphere before 'Restless' follows up as a more languid trip. A funky, kinetic bass pattern counters the kick while more phone tones achieve dance-floor hypnosis. Progress steadily bubbles while eerie high frequencies fill the outer edges of the stereo space. The breakdown then opens out in eye-widening fashion in a manner which is guaranteed to make for many memorable moments on the floor.
