Singer, songwriter, musician and producer drawn to psychedelia but grounded by indie rock/pop sensibilities. Robert Jordan (aka Deer) strives to make every song fun and full of adventure. His musical style was born from eclectic influences, ranging far and wide, including but not limited to Ween, The Beatles, Built to Spill and Beck. Classically trained pianist, high school trumpeter, Hip-hop DJ and MC, and finally self-taught guitarist and drummer; his ambition seems limitless and that hopeful optimism shines through in his lyrics and the overall mood of his music.
