Joining long-time friends Bob Drew and Jimmy Clark to create this 'backyard testimony' (recorded & mixed on a shoestring budget in their native New Hampshire), the stellar collection of original ballads and ragtime tributes was co-produced and mastered by Jim Mason and once again reveals why Eddie has been much in demand for most of his musical life as a singer, player and producer. “Paying homage to the Lousianna bayou and Bourbon Street, a local trio has cooked up a spicy jambalaya and smooth gumbo in their first CD, Dance for Love.” -Rick Dumont Eddie Mottau, Bob Drew and Jimmy Clark have been playing music together for 30+ years in one configuration or another. Eddie played acoustic guitar on 3 of John Lennon's albums with one of them, (Walls and Bridges) going gold, and has produced albums for various artists including Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul and Mary. Eddie's first solo album was "No Turning Around" for MCA Records. His second album was a stripped down, totally live album called "No Moulding" which featured Jimmy Clark. The three of them recorded the album "Mottau, Drew and Clark" Dance For Love, in 2004 for Noel Paul Stookey's Neworld Record label. They are currently working on writing songs for a new CD, and simply put, love playing music together. They all reside in the state of New Hampshire.
