I have been dreaming of making an album of my own music for a very long time. These past few years I have been talking about it on occasion and my fans have been waiting and asking for it ever since... I must apologize to them as it took much longer than expected. This was an incredible challenge. They say challenges allow us to grow, but they forget to say how long it can take :-) I am a self-thought pan flute maker, musician, and composer. I had no musical training and took on the pan flute as a hobby after falling in love with the sound of it. Then I became a street performer, out of curiosity, after many people were touched by my humble first public performance. Now it is my turn to be deeply touched by the many people of all ages who enjoy listening to my performances. Over the years I refined my skills on my instrument (I hope...) and learned something about the technical aspects of writing my own songs and the skills required to create a complete album of my own music. Occasionally I wanted to give up but then I would think about all those beautiful people to whom I promised that this album was "coming soon" and this would keep me going again... It is finally here and with a lot of patience it has actually turned out better than I originally hoped. So I now feel comfortable enough to offer it to the world... With Love, Sylvan
