Modulation first caught my attention with his infectious Groovy Movie EP which came out on Big Fish almost a year ago and was a breath of fresh air to the electro scene at the time. Since then the Israeli has been keeping a low profile with only a couple other releases until this week. The Shire is a track that embodies the Modulation sound with beautiful melodies distinct to his sound and an upbeat complextro drop that has a sight hint of disco that will agree with the masses. The other half of this release is an equally impressive dubstep remix from Synchronice. This is yet another big step for the brothers as they’ve been waiting for the opportunity to release on Big Fish and now the day has finally come. The boys from New Jersey are at it again with their staple sound that features growling reeses that contrast with the beautiful synths that make up the melody in the drop. Add in the original parts of The Shire and you have another beastly track that will appeal to every EDM fan as it combines the musicality and dirtiness of dubstep effortlessly.
