Joined by bassist David Williams and drummer Billy Higgins, Walton stretches out on four standards (highlighted by "My Ship") and a pair of originals ("Holy Land" and "Voices Deep Within Me") during this first volume; all are easily recommended to straightahead jazz collectors.
