This is very early Green, not long after he relocated to New York from St. Louis. The rhythm section is the trio known as Us Three -- Horace Parlan (p), George Tucker (b), and Al Harewood (d). This is available as a 2-CD set from Blue Note and should grace every Turrentine or Green fan's shelves. Although not as funky as he would get, this is wonderful easy-paced listening. Plenty of bluesy soulful music.
