This compilation mostly contains tracks from the 1st 2 Saints LPs (I'm Stranded and the seminal Eternally Yours) plus a couple of tracks from the 3rd LP (Prehistoric Sounds). In addition there are some tracks from hard to find EPs. All in all, a great collection of songs by what was a truly great Australian outfit in the mid to late 70s. Ed Kuepper's guitar playing is just wild, with manic leads and great riffs. I would rate Eternally Yours as perhaps one of the greatest Punk releases from the late 70's scene. This release is a good one to get as it has all the necessary Saints material. They lose their edge after the departure of Kuepper and move in a different direction which is not as interesting as this stuff, but was nevertheless, in the initial stages at any rate, still quite good. If you like your rock'n'roll raw and energetic then this is for you.
