Kalsi is an independent music producer with direction towards electro house, but known for versatile taste within the whole "EDM" culture. He's built a reputation of an energetic live performer and has done well over 100 gigs around Finland, but remembers the most interesting gigs being spinning the disks at Club Arena, the biggest club in Marmaris of Turkey, the legendary Hard Rock Cafe in Moscow, Russia and playing as the main act of the 4th anniversary party of LA Rocca in Latvia, the biggest club of the Baltic countries at the time.   The most popular track from Kalsi's anvil of beats has been "Flying High" with 40 million plays on Youtube in all of it's versions, together with #1 positions on the Finnish disco and club charts. As the physical record releases have mainly been done in Finland, there have been several Top 5 singles on the Finnish single sales chart coupled with a dozen+ Top 20's in both disco and dance charts. With the "Donnell & Douglas" moniker (co-project with Ari Myllymäki) the aim was at the clubs abroad and results were shown in top positions of many taste maker deejays plus occupying some chart success, with the best pick being #1 in Latvia. The top tune "The club is open" was also pressed on 120,000 records world wide from Spain, Singapore, Germany, Japan, and USA to Australia.   In 2013 Kalsi joined forces with local guys to implement fresh new directions with each other. The combination Probaker & Kalsi have released two tracks so far, with "Bullet in the gun" peaking the Finnish Dance Chart at #16 and the second track, a remake of an old club classic, "9PM" reaching the German Dance Charts Top100 at #30. Kalsi co-operates also with writer Applejack (#1 single chart Spain) to create "Kalsi & Applejack - Screams", which later had lyrics written by multiple times ASCAP awarded, 250+ million records sold platinum writer Herbie Crichlow, and vocals by Tina Cousins, who's a stable name in the scene with her five Top 20 UK singles. The third alliance, Dj Ice K & Kalsi, have brought us two EDM releases "MEGA" and "BOOM", which can be described with titles such as "party house" and "house rockers".
