Mick Turner is a Melbourne artist and musician, known primarily as guitarist with internationally acclaimed instrumental group Dirty Three. He has however been a painter for as long as he’s played music, and his artwork features on the covers of Dirty Three and his own solo album releases. These cover-art paintings exist as a visual accompaniment to the music of Dirty Three and Turner’s other projects, possessing a similar wild beauty.
